What is AmpShell ?

AmpShell is a DOSBox front-end for Windows.

The purpose of AmpShell is to make you run games in DOSBox with a simple double click. It saves the time and trouble you can have with DOS commands.

Plus, it has a lot of other time-saving features.

How to run it ?

Just download the zipped executable, extract it, and run it.

Since it's written in C#, it can run on virtually any machine having the .NET Framework installed.

Windows Vista (or Windows Seven) machines have already the .NET Framework, and almost all Windows XP machines have it nowadays.

AmpShell has been successfully tested on Windows XP, Windows XP x64 Edition, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8/8.1.
